More Data in Webmaster Tools

Google just accounted last week that they adding more data to the Webmaster Tools - specifically to the top search query area of your account. This data is really insightful and can really help understand what keywords you should focus more on.

Even guru Aaron Wall is excited about the new features, he mentioned "I want to find a Googler and give them a hug".

Aaron review on the feature also brings to light the fact that trophy keywords like the very generic keywords such as "SEO" actually might not be bringing you much in terms of clickthroughs to your website. Instead longer tail keywords and even branded keywords can be more valuable to be ranking for. I tend to agree with this too.

As well I pointed out the fact that the data in the Webmaster Tools just does not match up with the data in Google's Adwords Tool and Google Anlaytics. It seems Google can't add or something.

But over all it's a great feature to have in our account and even if it's not accurate I'm still happy with it.
